Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi has attached great importance to the work of ethnic minorities and has made many important expositions. Among them, establishing a sense of community of the Chinese nation is the core of the new practice concept, new work thinking and new development strategy of my countrys ethnic minority work. The sense of community of the Chinese nation is the revival and cohesion of the people of the Peoples Republic of China on the basis of recognizing the common conditions and historical basis for each others survival and development, and upholding the values and norms of common good and the willingness to actively maintain. At the recently held Central Ethnic Work Conference, General Secretary Xi once again emphasized that we must focus on building the consciousness of the Chinese nations community and unswervingly follow the correct path of solving ethnic issues with Chinese characteristics. Entering a new stage of development, new media has strong technological advantages and can play an important role in the process of building the consciousness of the Chinese nation. It is necessary to use new media to help cultivate the consciousness of the Chinese nation.
