Objective To explore the application effect of Internet-based information-based health education in nursing care of patients after liver cancer surgery. Methods A total of 400 patients with liver cancer treated after surgery from May 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 200 patients in each group. The control group received conventional health education, while the observation group received health education based on Internet information. By comparing the changes of self-care ability and quality of life of the two groups before and after intervention, the application effect of Internet information-based health education was evaluated. Results Compared with the control group, patients in the observation group showed significant improvement in self-management, health knowledge mastery, self-awareness and self-care skills after receiving Internet information health education (P<0.05). In addition, the quality of life of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group in terms of physiological, psychological and social adaptation (P<0.05). Conclusion Health education based on Internet information can effectively improve the self-care ability and quality of life of patients after liver cancer surgery, and has an important positive role in promoting the early recovery of patients after surgery.
