Objective To explore the application effect of laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal and conventional laparotomy in the treatment of patients with ovarian cysts. Methods The ovarian cyst patients treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were randomly selected, and a total of 80 patients were selected. According to the different treatment methods, these 80 patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 40 patients in each group. Control group —— open surgery; observation group —— laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal, compare the clinical index, ovarian function rate before and after treatment. Results The operation time, hospitalization time, anal exhaust time and intraoperative blood loss of ovarian cyst patients in the observation group were lower than that of the control group, comparing data results (P <0.05); the postoperative complications of ovarian cyst patients were significantly lower compared with those of ovarian cyst patients in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion As a result, ovarian cyst as a gynecological disease will cause great harm to the physical and mental health of patients. Through laparoscopic surgery, it can not only achieve satisfactory treatment effect, but also have high safety. The prognosis of patients is ideal, and has a high value, which is worth promoting.
