Objective To analyze the value of comprehensive nursing intervention in laparoscopic colon cancer resection, and to provide nursing intervention services for patients from psychological, postoperative medication guidance, life guidance, health education and other parts. Methods The patients undergoing laparoscopic colon cancer resection from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided (n=72). The experimental group received comprehensive nursing intervention, and the control group received routine nursing. The indexes of postoperative intestinal obstruction, abdominal infection, deep vein thrombosis and first time of getting out of bed were compared. Results The incidence of complications was as low as 0.0% in the experimental group and only 11.11% in the control group (P < 0.05). The first time to get out of bed and the first time to exhaust: the experimental group was better than the control group (P < 0.05). Satisfaction: The data of the experimental group reached 97.22%, while the data of the control group was only 80.56%. Compared with that, the satisfaction of the experimental group was higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic colon cancer resection with comprehensive nursing intervention, the incidence of complications is lower, the disease recovery is faster, the satisfaction improvement is more obvious.
