Objective To improve the nursing level of patients undergoing laparoscopic acute appendicitis surgery, and to implement rapid recovery surgical nursing in clinical practice, in order to clarify its impact on patients undergoing laparoscopic acute appendicitis surgery. Method A total of 94 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for acute appendicitis in the hospital between January and December 2023 were analyzed. After numbering each patient, they were randomly selected into a control group (47 cases) and an observation group (47 cases). Two groups of nursing interventions were implemented using conventional methods and rapid recovery surgical nursing methods, and the intervention situation was analyzed. In terms of the overall incidence of complications, the observation group had a lower total value compared to the two groups (P<0.05). In terms of clinical indicators, the observation group had lower values (P<0.05) compared to the two groups. Conclusion Implementing rapid recovery surgical nursing in clinical practice is beneficial for promoting postoperative recovery of patients undergoing laparoscopic acute appendicitis surgery, reducing the risk of related complications, and allowing patients to be discharged as soon as possible.
