Objective: Observation and analysis of the clinical efficacy and application value of hydroxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets in the treatment of patients with advanced malignant tumors. Method: A retrospective study was conducted to select 60 patients with advanced malignant tumors who visited the hospital (sample size: 60 cases; sample inclusion time: May 2022 to May 2023). They were randomly divided into two groups based on ball touching, control and experimental, with a highly consistent number of observed cases. Routine morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets and hydroxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets were administered separately. Collect and analyze treatment outcomes. Result: Compared with the control group (treated with conventional morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets), the experimental group (treated with hydroxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets) had lower levels of pain inducing factors (serum serotonin/bradykinin/cerebrospinal fluid neuropeptide Y), higher quality of life scores (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function), and lower pain severity scores (P<0.05). Conclusion: Hydroxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets can effectively alleviate pain levels in patients with advanced malignant tumors, reduce levels of pain inducing factors, promote improvement in quality of life, and have high application value.
