Objective: Through this study, to explore the actual effect of applying PDCA cycle management mode in orthopaedic nursing management. Methods: In the implementation of this study, 72 orthopaedic patients will be selected as the research objects, and their basic data have been briefly analyzed before enrollment to confirm that the patients can be enrolled in the experiment. At the same time, the patients were randomly divided into groups, and finally they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the standard of 36 patients in each group, with 36 cases in each group, and the PDCA cycle management mode was applied in the observation group, while the control group continued to apply routine nursing management model and compare its specific nursing management effects. Results: The incidence of nursing risk events under different nursing management modes was compared and analyzed, and the results showed that the incidence of nursing risk events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Not only that, the nursing quality scores of the observation group in terms of nursing attitude, communication ability, safety nursing, and basic nursing were relatively higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Strengthening the application of PDCA cycle management model in orthopaedic nursing management can improve nursing quality and ensure nursing safety.
