Objective: To explore the clinical effect of anal fistula resection combined with external stripping and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids in the treatment of anal fistula with mixed hemorrhoids. Methods: 70 patients with anal fistula with mixed hemorrhoids admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to May 2024 were selected. 35 patients received conventional anal fistulectomy (control group) and 35 patients received anal fistulectomy combined with mixed hemorrhoidal external exfoliation and internal ligation (observation group). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The clinical treatment indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The disappearance time of clinical symptoms in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: When choosing the treatment plan for patients with anal fistula and mixed hemorrhoids, the treatment plan of anal fistula resection combined with external stripping and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids can be used. This protocol can shorten the treatment time, improve the clinical symptoms of patients, and the incidence of complications is low.
