Objective To analyze the application effect of PDCA cycle management in elderly stroke nursing and health education. Methods 66 elderly stroke patients admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 33 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received PDCA cycle management mode on the basis of the control group. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had significantly higher health style scores (HPL) and daily living ability scores (ADL) than the control group, while the degree of neurological deficits (NIHSS) was significantly lower than the control group, with significant inter group comparisons (P<0.05). The nursing quality score and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management in elderly stroke nursing and health education has good nursing quality, can effectively improve patient health behavior, enhance their daily living ability and neurological function, and increase nursing satisfaction.
