Objective To improve the prevention effect of radioactive oral mucositis, the clinical implementation of honeysuckle and paraffin oil at different times combined with hawthorn water drinking regimen, to clarify its effect on delaying the occurrence of radioactive oral mucositis. Methods From January 2023 to December 2023, 100 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the second department of swelling in the hospital during periradiotherapy period were selected as the research objects, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional gargling (that is, following the doctors advice to carry out relevant gargling instructions), and the research group added honeysuckle + paraffin oil gargling on the basis of routine. Hawthorn water drinking, compare the two groups of related indicators. Results Compared with the two groups, the observation group had better observation indexes (P<0.05). Conclusion In nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients during peri-radiotherapy period, routine gargling guidance, plus honeysuckle + paraffin oil gargling and hawthorn water drinking regimen can help delay the occurrence of radioactive oral mucositis.
