Objective To analyze the influence of continuous care based on wechat platform on patients with T-tube drainage after biliary surgery. Methods From January 2023 to December 2023, 68 patients in our hospital who underwent cholangiolithotomy and T-tube drainage due to cholangiolithiasis during this period were selected as research objects, and were randomly divided into two groups by computer. The groups were set as control group (n=34, routine discharge care) and study group (n=34, continuous care based on wechat platform). The nursing effect of the two groups was evaluated comprehensively from the aspects of post-nursing health knowledge mastery score and post-discharge complication rate. Results The four health knowledge scores of self-care, diet management, rehabilitation training and complication monitoring were compared between the two groups. The t test showed significant differences between the two groups (P < 0.05), and the study group was higher than the control group. The total incidence of complications after discharge between the two groups was significantly different (P < 0.05), and the study group was lower than the control group. Conclusion The continuous care based on wechat platform can effectively improve the health knowledge score of patients with T-tube drainage, thereby improving the self-management ability of patients after discharge, and helping to reduce the risk of complications related to drainage tube, which is worth promoting.
