Objective To analyze the effects of dual heart nursing combined with behavior change nursing on cardiovascular adverse events and quality of life in elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with coronary heart disease treated in our hospital from July 2023 to May 2024 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. The elderly patients with coronary heart disease in the control group received routine nursing, and the elderly patients with coronary heart disease in the observation group received dual-heart nursing combined with behavior change nursing during nursing. The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events and the improvement of quality of life of elderly patients with coronary heart disease before and after nursing management were compared between the two groups. Results The improvement of life quality scores in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). In addition, the incidence of arrhythmia, cardiac death and other adverse cardiovascular events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Dual-heart nursing combined with behavior change nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events and improve the quality of life of elderly patients with coronary heart disease.
