Objective To analyze and study the effect of auricular acupoint compression and emotional nursing on improving sleep quality and psychological status of patients with insomnia. Methods The experiment lasted from February 2023 to February 2024, and the experimental subjects were 60 insignia patients admitted to our hospital during this period, who were divided into two groups with the same number of people according to the random number table. 30 patients in the control group were given routine nursing, and 30 patients in the observation group were given auricular acupoint compression combined with emotional nursing. After nursing, the basic conditions of the two groups of patients were compared and analyzed. Results Compared with the study results, the sleep quality score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The psychological status of patients in both groups was improved after nursing, and the improvement effect of patients in observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of auricular acupoint compression and emotional nursing in the care of insomnia patients can improve the bad mood and improve their sleep quality, and has a high application value.
