Objective: To analyze and study the effect of TCM syndrome differentiation on diabetes, and promote the orderly development of diabetes treatment under the support of TCM syndrome differentiation. Methods: Randomly selected patients with diabetes were divided into the control group and the observation group on average. The control group diabetes patients were treated with western medicine, and the observation group patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine based on syndrome differentiation and classification. The treatment effect and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: there was no significant difference in the scores of diabetes patients between the two groups before treatment (p>0.05). After treatment, the clinical efficacy and quality of life scores of diabetes patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the blood sugar level and psychological status scores of diabetes patients in the two groups after syndrome differentiation showed significant statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: TCM syndrome differentiation and typing can be selected according to the physical condition of diabetes patients and the requirements of clinical treatment, which can ensure the efficacy and safety of diabetes treatment while reducing the incidence of adverse reactions in patients, and lay a solid foundation for promoting the application of TCM syndrome differentiation and typing in the clinical treatment of diabetes.
