Objective: To analyze and discuss the effectiveness of evidence-based nursing in neonatal care for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Method: 56 newborns with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects, and were evenly divided into an observation group (evidence-based nursing) and a control group (routine nursing). The recovery status of the two groups of newborns after nursing, as well as their intelligence and psychomotor scores before and after nursing, and parental satisfaction were compared. Result: The recovery status of the observation group (symptom disappearance 4.03 ± 1.01 days, consciousness recovery 5.51 ± 0.82 days, muscle tone recovery 4.83 ± 1.21 days, hospitalization time 13.65 ± 2.25 days) was better than that of the control group (P<0.05); The intelligence and psychomotor scores of the observation group after nursing (95.22 ± 4.69 points, 95.04 ± 4.78 points) were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); The satisfaction rate of parents in the observation group (96.43%) was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of evidence-based nursing in neonatal care for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is effective and worthy of wide promotion and application.
