Objective To analyze the application effect and satisfaction of clinical nursing pathways in epilepsy care. Methods 74 epilepsy patients admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 37 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received clinical nursing pathway intervention. The health knowledge scores, length of hospital stay, medical expenses, medication adherence, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The health knowledge score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the length of hospital stay and medical expenses were significantly lower than those of the control group. The inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05). The medication adherence and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of clinical nursing pathway intervention in epilepsy nursing has a significant effect, which can effectively improve the patients health knowledge level, shorten hospitalization time, reduce medical costs, and improve medication compliance, thereby improving nursing satisfaction. It can be promoted and applied in clinical practice.
