Objective To explore the one month effect of clinical intervention using various traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques in postoperative patients with hemorrhoids. Methods A total of 120 patients with hemorrhoids who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from April 2023 to February 2024 were included. They were divided into a control group (conventional postoperative care) and an observation group (with various traditional Chinese medicine nursing interventions) according to postoperative care methods, with 60 cases in each group. The clinical nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the improvement of clinical symptom and sign scores (bloating, edema, pain, bleeding) between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, the clinical symptom and sign scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction scores (service attitude, operational skills, operational safety, nursing methods) of the observation group were also higher than those of the control group. The differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing various traditional Chinese medicine nursing interventions for postoperative patients with hemorrhoids in clinical practice can significantly alleviate their clinical symptoms, promote their recovery, and increase their acceptance and nursing satisfaction.
