Objective To analyze the clinical treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), explore the effects of COPD decoction on lung function and symptoms, and determine the therapeutic effect. Methods A total of 110 patients with COPD in our clinic from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected, all of whom met the study criteria. After understanding and agreeing to this study, the patients were separately enrolled into the treatment group for treatment. The patients receiving conventional treatment were enrolled into the reference group (55 cases), and the patients receiving COPD decoction were enrolled into the study group (55 cases). Enumerate relevant data of clinical treatment, including: symptom remission time, lung function index, TCM syndrome score, treatment efficiency, and judge treatment effect. Results The data of the two groups were listed, and the time of symptom disappearance in the study group was shorter than that in the reference group (P < 0.05). There was no difference in the pulmonary function index before treatment (P > 0.05), but after treatment, the index value of the study group was higher than that of the reference group (P < 0.05). The score of TCM syndrome in the study group was lower than that in the reference group (P < 0.05). The effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the reference group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The clinical application of COPD decoction can effectively improve the clinical treatment effect of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, effectively relieve the symptoms of patients, improve the lung function, the therapeutic effect is ideal, and has a wide range of application value.
