Objective: To investigate the efficacy of amlodipine besylate combined with atorvastatin calcium tablets in the treatment of hypertension. Method: 74 hypertensive patients admitted to our hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 37 patients in each group. The control group was treated with amlodipine besylate, while the observation group was treated with amlodipine besylate combined with atorvastatin calcium tablets. Blood pressure levels, lipid levels, and inflammatory cytokine levels were compared between the two groups. Result: The blood pressure level of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05); The blood lipid levels in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05); The levels of inflammatory factors in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of amlodipine besylate and atorvastatin calcium tablets has significant therapeutic effects on hypertension, effectively controlling stable blood pressure levels, regulating blood lipid levels, and reducing inflammatory reactions in patients.
