Objective To analyze the medical significance of applying comprehensive nursing interventions in the clinical nursing plan of patients with adhesive intestinal obstruction after abdominal surgery. Methods Sixty patients who underwent abdominal surgery and developed adhesive intestinal obstruction in our hospital between October 2022 and October 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group of 30 patients receiving routine nursing care and an observation group of 30 patients receiving comprehensive nursing intervention. The gastrointestinal recovery and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Results After implementing different nursing interventions, the nursing indicators for gastrointestinal recovery in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the prognostic effects and satisfaction of sleep, pain, etc. were also better than those in the control group. The comparison of indicators was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention mode in patients with adhesive intestinal obstruction after abdominal surgery can accelerate the recovery and outcome of gastrointestinal function, with low pain, high body comfort and satisfaction.
