Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing on pain control and sleep quality in patients with advanced lung cancer. Methods 46 advanced lung cancer patients admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were divided into two groups using a random number table method, namely the reference group and the experimental group. The reference group received routine care, while the experimental group received traditional Chinese medicine care on this basis, with 23 cases in each group. Evaluate the effects of two groups based on pain score (BPI-C), sleep quality (PSQI), and nursing satisfaction. Results The comparison of pain scores showed that the difference between the two nursing groups was small (P>0.05). After nursing, the experimental group showed a significant decrease (P<0.05). The comparison of sleep quality scores shows that the experimental group is significantly lower than the reference group (P<0.05). The comparison of nursing satisfaction shows that the experimental group is lower than the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine nursing for advanced lung cancer patients can significantly alleviate their pain, improve their sleep quality, and enhance their satisfaction. This method is worth promoting.
