Objective This study analyzed the national drug policy and rational drug use. Methods In this study, 120 patients and 800 prescriptions were selected for the analysis of national drug policy and rational drug use. 400 prescriptions and 60 inpatients from December 2021 to June 2022 were set as the control group, and did not receive comprehensive pharmaceutical management intervention. From July 2022 to December 2023, 400 drug prescriptions and 60 hospitalized patients received pharmaceutical intervention and were set up as the experimental group. Results The results showed that after the implementation of comprehensive pharmaceutical management combined with national drug policy, the proportion of irrational drug use prescriptions was significantly reduced, and the level of rational drug use was significantly increased (P < 0.05). Conclusion Through this study, we deeply understand the importance of national drug policy in rational drug use. It is hoped that there will be more research and practice in the future to jointly discuss how to better implement rational drug use, so as to promote the development of national drug policy and protect the health of patients.
