[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effects of low-dose olanzapine tablets on postoperative delirium, cognitive function and stress response in elderly patients with postoperative hip fracture. Methods: Selected from September 2020 to April 2022, 89 cases of elderly hip fracture patients as the research object, the draw method is divided into two groups, control group of 44 cases before anesthesia and surgery in the process of vein pump note right beautiful mi set, observation group 45 cases in combination with small dose of olanzapine, compared two groups of patients the incidence of postoperative delirium and duration, Cognitive function, stress response level, and incidence of adverse reactions. Results:The incidence of delirium in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in the duration of delirium between the two groups (P>0.05). In the control group, the levels of serotonin (5-HT) and dopamine (DA) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.05); there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions: Dexmedetomidine combined with low-dose olanzapine tablets in elderly patients with hip fracture can effectively reduce the risk of postoperative delirium, improve cognitive function, and reduce the level of stress response, with high safety.
