The judicial appraisal of civil capacity in our country is of great significance to the protection of the legal rights and interests of the person being examined. Due to the particularity of the condition of senile dementia, the complexity of personal family members, and social interactions, there are problems such as large differences in identification, and court trials are not easy to be adopted. This study starts from a case of forensic identification of senile dementia patients in Sun Yat-sen University, analyzes the main problems in the field of forensic identification of civil capacity, and proposes solutions. To provide assistance for improving the judicial appraisal procedures for civil conduct capacity such as senile dementia.
