Abstract Objective: To analyze the effects of paroxetine combined with laparoscopic surgery on CA125 and NPY levels and anxiety and depression in patients with endometriosis complicated with anxiety and depression. Method: From April 2020 to March 2022, 83 patients with endometriosis combined with anxiety and depression in our hospital were divided into groups by lottery method. Based on routine psychological intervention and treatment, 41 patients in the control group received endoscopic surgery, and 42 patients in the test group received laparoscopic surgery combined with paroxetine treatment, all of which were treated for 3 months. Depression and anxiety scores, quality of life, serum glucose antigen 125 (CA125), neuropeptide Y (NPY) levels, adverse reactions and recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results: After 3 months, the scores of self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), CA125, NPY and recurrence rate of observation group were lower than those of control group, and the scores of physiological field and psychological state were higher than those of control group (P < 0.05), and there was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Laparoscopic surgery combined with paroxetine can safely and effectively regulate the levels of serum CA125 and NPY in patients with endometriosis complicated with anxiety and depression, reduce the depression and anxiety mood and recurrence rate, and improve the quality of life of patients.
