| Abstract |
Objective To explore the influencing factors of aggressive behavior in stable nursing home patients with schizophrenia. Methods 177 stable schizophrenic patients with aggressive behavior were selected as the study group in the outpatient and inpatient department of Chongqing mental health center from January 2020 to January 2021, and another 160 schizophrenic patients without aggressive behavior matched with the gender and age of the study group were selected as the control group. Social disability screening schedule (SDSS), family intimacy and adaptability scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) scale and self-made general situation questionnaire were used to survey. Results There were significant difference in duration, guardianship, medication, insight, PSQI, SDSS, intimacy and adaptability between the study group and the control group (P < 0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that guardianship, medication, insight were high risk factors and duration, adaptability were protective factors of aggression in stable nursing home patients with schizophrenia. Conclusions Stable nursing home patients with schizophrenia have poor sleep status, social function, family intimacy and adaptability. Medication, guardianship, insight, duration and family adaptability are the influencing factors of aggressive behavior.
