[Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the value of psychological nursing intervention in improving the negative emotion of patients undergoing thyroid surgery. Methods: 180 patients with thyroid surgery treated in our hospital from June 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research object, and divided into two groups according to the "random sampling method" (90 cases in each group). The control group carried out routine nursing, and the observation group carried out psychological nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The psychological state, nursing effect, nursing satisfaction and negative emotion of the two groups were compared. Results: the scores of somatization, phobia, paranoia and other emotions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05); The sleep quality score, pain degree and hospital stay in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05); The nursing satisfaction of the observation group (97.78%) was higher than that of the control group (90.00%) (P < 0.05); The scores of SDS and SAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the implementation of psychological nursing intervention can improve the negative emotions of patients with thyroid surgery, alleviate their bad emotions such as fear and paranoia, and make them actively cooperate in treatment and nursing, which is worthy of reference.
