Objective To investigate and analyze the effect of detailed nursing on the effect and complications of neonatal PICC catheterization. Methods A total of 100 neonates who received PICC catheterization from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. Based on the number of admission sequences of the children, 100 children were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number grouping. The control group intervened using usual care; The observation group intervened using a detailed care model. Results after nursing intervention, the observation group was significantly better than the control group in terms of PICC insertion time and complication rate, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the process of nursing newborns receiving PICC catheterization, the intervention mode of detailed nursing can significantly reduce the complication rate and PICC catheterization time, which has excellent results in the actual application process, and deserves further promotion and application.
