Objective To study the work needs of family pharmacists in type 2 diabetes patients in the community. Methods Type 2 diabetes patients who received disease management at Dapqiao Street Community Health Service Center from January 2021 to December 2021 were randomly selected as respondents. Consult the relevant literature, design the questionnaire according to the actual situation, and distribute the recovery questionnaire after the result statistics and analysis. Results Only 20.21% of the preferred community health service centers were sick. 21%, nearly half of the patients did not know about clinical pharmacists, 84.75% wanted clinical pharmacists to provide door-to-door medical services in the community, 68.79% health education, 53.90% telephone interviews, and 39.36% released health care information, preferably about twice a week. Conclusion Family pharmacists actively participate in community diabetes management, strengthen communication with patients, and strengthen the service and important role of pharmacists in diabetes patients.
