Objective To implement nursing guidance for elderly patients with knee degenerative lesions, to focus on the targeted measures of orthopedic nursing, and to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life of the elderly. Methods For 80 patients with degenerative knee lesions, from January 2021 to September 2022, the patients were divided into two groups according to the randomization method, the control group was routine care, the observation group was targeted orthopedic care, and the nursing results were compared. Results According to the data, the rate of excellent care in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The relief time of knee symptoms in the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the comparative difference between the groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). Meanwhile, in the case of QOL index, the patient data in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with significant differences (P <0.05). Finally, in the satisfaction evaluation, the observation group had higher scores than the control group, with significant differences (P <0.05). Conclusion For the patients with degenerative knee joint lesions, it can help to relieve the disease and improve the quality of life, so it is worth promoting.
