Objective To analyze the value of combination of cluster nursing and barotherapy for the prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity after interventional hepatic arterial chemoembolization in patients with hepatic malignant tumor. Methods From October 2020 to September 2022, 86 patients with hepatic malignant tumor were treated by interventional hepatic arterial chemoembolization. Two groups were randomly divided: the experimental group received cluster nursing and barotherapy, and the control group received routine nursing and barotherapy. The incidence of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and other indicators were compared. Results The incidence of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis was 2.33% in the experimental group, which was lower than 16.28% in the control group (P<0.05). Awareness of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity: the test group (90.15±3.48) points, compared with the control group (71.49±6.31) points (P<0.05). As for satisfaction, the data of the experimental group was 97.67%, which was higher than that of the control group (81.4%) (P<0.05). About the quality of care: experimental group data (98.05±0.93) points, and control group data (91.34±1.57) points higher (P<0.05). Conclusion Interventional hepatic arterial chemoembolization combined with cluster nursing and barotherapy for hepatic malignant tumors can lower the incidence of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis, higher nursing quality, more obvious improvement in satisfaction, and more rapid improvement in disease awareness.
