Objective: To explore the efficacy of non-invasive ventilator in COPD with respiratory failure. Methods: From February 2020 to September 2021, 112 patients with COPD and respiratory failure in our hospital were selected and divided into the discussion group and the basic group by computer lottery, 56 cases in each group. Patients in the basic group received conventional therapy, while those in the seminar group received non-invasive ventilator therapy. Blood gas analysis index and cardiac function index were evaluated and compared between groups. Results: After treatment, blood gas index PaO2 in the discussion group was higher than that in the basic group, PaCO2 was lower than that in the basic group, P < 0.05; The comparison of cardiac function indexes between the two groups showed that LVEF value, E/A value and LVEDD value in the discussion group were higher than those in the basic group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: Non-invasive ventilator therapy can significantly improve blood gas analysis index and cardiac function index in COPD patients with respiratory failure, which has high application value.
