Objective To study and explore the clinical effect of red and blue light in the treatment of mild and moderate acne. Method The selected subjects were 88 patients with mild and moderate acne admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022, who were randomly divided into control group (44 patients receiving conventional Western medicine treatment) and observation group (44 patients receiving conventional western medicine treatment combined with red and blue light treatment) according to the random number method. Symptom improvement score, number of inflammatory lesions, incidence of scar and treatment effectiveness were compared between the two groups. Results After different treatment interventions, the symptom improvement score and treatment effective rate of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of scar and the number of inflammatory lesions in the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group, the data were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Red and blue light in the treatment of mild and moderate acne has better clinical effects, can significantly improve the symptoms of patients, effectively reduce the incidence of scar, inflammatory lesions, and improve the treatment efficiency, which is worthy of clinical promotion and reference.
