Objective Obstetrical patients have special characteristics, and their clinical work requires high quality of care. Therefore, the daily work of obstetrics is complicated and heavy, which leads to negative emotions among nursing staff, aggravate fatigue, and affect work quality and efficiency. This paper aims to evaluate the application effect of flexible management model on obstetric nursing management intervention. Methods This study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022. The subjects of the study were 260 patients who were in our hospitals obstetric department during this period and 30 nursing staff who were in obstetric department during the same period. After implementing different management modes, the patients satisfaction with nursing management and the working ability of nursing staff were compared between the two groups. Results The patients in the study group were 99.23% satisfied with nursing management, and the patients in the control group were 87.69% satisfied with nursing management. The working ability of nursing staff was significantly better than that of routine nursing management after implementing the flexible management mode, P. Conclusion The application of flexible management mode in obstetric nursing management can effectively improve the working ability of nursing staff and the satisfaction of patients with nursing management, which shows that the scheme is of high value in clinical application and is worth wide recommendation.
