Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention in the operating room on the psychological status and agitation of patients during the recovery period from general anesthesia. Methods 150 patients who were treated with general anesthesia in the hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 75 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the study group was treated with nursing intervention in the operating room. The psychological status, recovery indicators, restlessness and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The score of anxiety and depression in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05); The heart rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the time of awakening was shorter than that of the control group, and the score of restlessness was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05) The nursing satisfaction of 96.00% in the study group was higher than that of 85.33% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of nursing intervention in the operating room for the patients in the recovery period of general anesthesia can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of the patients, reduce the occurrence of restlessness in the recovery period, and have significant value for the prognosis of the patients, which is worthy of clinical nursing promotion.
