Objective To explore the application value of holistic nursing intervention in the nursing of patients with gallstone surgery. Methods This study was conducted from June to December 2022. The subjects of the study were 120 patients who received surgical treatment for gallstones in our hospital. The hospital stay, complication rate and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared under different perioperative nursing measures. Results The patients satisfaction with nursing in the study group was 98.33%, the incidence of complications was 3.33%, and the length of stay was (6.23±0.96) days. The patients in the control group were 85.00%, 15.00%, and (8.39±1.52) days respectively, P<0.05, indicating that there was a comparative significance. Conclusion Holistic nursing intervention can effectively improve patients satisfaction with nursing management, reduce the occurrence of complications, and significantly promote the recovery rate of patients in the nursing care of patients with gallstone surgery, which shows that the program is of high value in practical clinical application and is worthy of wide recommendation.
