Objective To investigate the current situation of humanistic care ability of emergency nurses, and analyze its influencing factors on this basis. Methods 20 emergency nurses in our hospital were selected as research objects, and the data were investigated by using self-made emergency nurses questionnaire, humanistic care ability evaluation form, nurses professional identity scale and job fatigue scale. Results The humanistic care ability evaluation score of 20 emergency nurses in our hospital was (184.21±18.76) points, which was judged to be medium level. The score of patience dimension was (57.45±5.94) points, the score of cognitive recovery dimension was (72.58±9.43) points and the score of courage dimension was (51.42±10.57) points. Relevant studies showed that there was a negative correlation between emergency nurses humanistic care ability and work fatigue scale (P<0.05), and a positive correlation between emergency nurses professional identity scale (P<0.05). The results of retrospective analysis showed that nursing age, humanistic care ability training, professional identity and work fatigue were the main factors affecting the humanistic care ability of emergency nurses. Conclusion The overall level of humanistic care ability of emergency nurses is not high enough, and there is a certain room for growth. Hospital managers should pay more attention to this, and constantly strengthen the cultivation of humanistic care ability of nurses.
