Objective To explore the application effect of collaborative nursing model in patients with viral meningitis combined with symptomatic epilepsy in improving the prognosis and improving the quality of life. Methods From January 2021 to January 2022,102 patients with viral meningitis combined with symptomatic epilepsy admitted in our hospital were divided into management group and reference group, and received collaborative care mode and general care mode respectively, comparing prognosis and quality of life. Results The incidence of sequelae of viral meningitis, and recurrence rate of epilepsy in the management group were lower than the reference group (P <0.05); the quality of life score of the management group was higher than the reference group (P <0.05). Conclusion Patients with viral meningitis with symptomatic epilepsy have good application value for patients condition and quality of life, and it is worth promoting.
