Objective: To analyze the nursing measures for the treatment of limb fractures with external fixation. Methods: A total of 80 study subjects were selected for this research task. After clinical imaging diagnosis, they were all confirmed to be limb fractures. According to the investigation and research, they all met the entry criteria of this study. At the same time, the patients were divided into two groups by random number method. , Namely the control group and the observation group, 40 cases in each group, the former group uses conventional nursing measures, and the latter group uses high-quality nursing measures to compare their nursing effects. Results: With the help of high-quality nursing measures, the fracture healing of patients in the observation group was good, 26 cases, 12 cases, and 2 cases were excellent, good, and poor respectively; in contrast, there were 21 cases, 11 cases, and 11 cases in the control group. 8 cases were significantly inferior to the observation group (P<0.05). Secondly, the self-care management ability score and complication rate of patients in the observation group after nursing were also better than those in the control group, and there was statistical significance between the data (P<0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of high-quality nursing measures for patients treated with extremity fractures with external fixation can help patients with fracture healing and reduce the risk of complications.
