Objective To investigate and analyze the efficacy of needle in the treatment of urinary retention after lower limb fracture. Methods A total of 102 patients with urinary retention after surgery for lower limb fractures were selected from January 2021 to December 2022 as the subjects of this study. According to the number of admission sequences of patients, 102 patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number grouping, and the control group was treated with intermittent catheterization. The observation group was treated with needles. Comparative analysis of bladder residual urine output in the two groups; Single average urine output per day; Length of hospital stay and quality of life. Results The residual urine volume of the bladder in the observation group was observed; Single average urine output per day; The length of hospital stay and quality of life were significantly better than those of the control group, P<0.05. Conclusion In the process of treating patients with urinary retention after lower limb fracture surgery, the intervention of needle therapy can effectively improve the quality of life of patients, and at the same time significantly improve the residual urine output of the patient. The daily average urine output and hospital stay have excellent results in the actual application process, and are worthy of further promotion and application.
