Objective To explore the effect of nursing in elderly patients with acute and chronic pyelonephritis. Methods: Fifty patients with pyelonephritis admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to August 2022 were selected and assigned to the study group (n=25) or the control group (n=25) in equal proportion. The clinical efficacy and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were analyzed comprehensively. Results Compared with conventional nursing, in the high quality nursing group, there were 10 cases cured, 14 cases improved and 1 case ineffective, the effective rate of treatment was 96.00%, significantly higher than the control group, P < 0.05, in addition, in the high quality nursing group, there were 15 cases very satisfied and 10 cases satisfied, and no nursing dissatisfaction cases, nursing satisfaction of 100.00%, significantly better than the control group. P < 0.05. Conclusion For elderly patients with acute and chronic pyelonephritis, nursing has important clinical significance, scientific and reasonable nursing intervention can promote the rehabilitation of patients, improve nursing satisfaction, has greater clinical potential.
