Objective To explore the clinical value of psychological care for children in the treatment of oral pulp disease. Methods 80 children with oral pulp disease who received treatment at our hospital from August 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group received child psychological care. The satisfaction of the two groups of children with different nursing methods and the degree of cooperation during the treatment process were observed. Results Two groups of children with oral pulp disease were compared in terms of satisfaction with different nursing methods. The total score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05); The degree of cooperation between two groups of children with oral pulp disease using different nursing methods was compared. The situation of the experimental groups children was better than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of child psychological care in the treatment of oral and dental pulp disease can effectively improve nursing satisfaction, while also improving the degree of cooperation of children in the treatment process. It has practicality and feasibility, and is therefore worth promoting and using in clinical practice.
