Objective To analyze the effect of humanized nursing intervention in severe asthma in children. Methods Seventy-four children with severe asthma were included and studied between May 2021 and June 2022. Usual care group (37 cases): usual care. Humanized nursing intervention group (37 cases): in addition to routine nursing, apply humanized nursing intervention to research effect. Results The number of acute asthma attacks in the humanized care intervention group after 4 weeks of intervention was less [(0.47 ± 0.15) time / week, compared with (1.36 ± 0.24) time / week in the usual care group] (p <0.05). Daytime asthma symptoms and nighttime asthma symptoms after 4 weeks in the humanized nursing intervention group were lower [(0.38 ± 0.08) and (0.21 ± 0.03), compared with (1.27 ± 0.15) and (0.21 ± 0.03) in the usual care group] (p <0.05). FEV 1 levels and FEV 1 / FVC levels were higher in the humanized care intervention group [(1.87 ± 0.39) L, (59.69 ± 3.12)%, compared with (1.56 ± 0.24) L, (51.39 ± 2.07)% in the usual care group] (p <0.05). The clinical nursing satisfaction rate was higher in the humanized nursing intervention group after 4 weeks of intervention [97.29%, compared with 81.08% in the usual care group] (p <0.05). Conclusion Humanized nursing intervention can achieve better results for children with severe asthma.
