Elderly people are at high risk for falls, and hospitalized patients are more likely to fall. Falls in elderly patients are characterized by suddenness and unpredictability. If timely and effective nursing measures are not taken, falls will not only lead to different degrees of physical damage, but also affect the quality of life and mental health of the elderly. Because of the age of patients, health education to prevent falls in elderly hospitalized patients is very important during hospitalization. Health education is an effective preventive measure, which can improve the knowledge and awareness of fall prevention, reduce the risk of fall and improve the quality of life of elderly hospitalized patients. Therefore, this paper discusses the application effect of emphasizing health education in the prevention of falls in elderly hospitalized patients.
