Objective To analyze the value of psychological nursing in endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal polyps. Methods Patients with gastrointestinal polyps (n=400) admitted to the undergraduate department from March 2018 to January 2023 were randomly divided into two groups, 200 of which were enrolled in the trial and 200 were enrolled in the control group. The former received clinical psychological nursing during endoscopic treatment, while the latter received routine nursing. SDS score and other indicators were compared. Results The first feeding time and hospital stay after surgery were (3.05±0.48) d and (5.79±1.32) d in the experimental group and (3.89±0.54) d and (7.14±1.52) d in the control group, respectively (P < 0.05). SDS and SAS scores: At the end of the intervention, the test group was lower than the control group (P < 0.05). As for the satisfaction index, the data of the experimental group was 98.0%, which was higher than that of the control group (80.5%) (P < 0.05). Conclusion Endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal polyps with psychological nursing clinical pathway, negative emotion relief is more rapid, gastrointestinal function improvement is more obvious, and satisfaction is higher.
