In recent years, the incidence of cancer patients has gradually shown an upward trend. The main aspect of current medical research in clinical practice is to improve the quality of life of patients. Tranquil care is mainly reflected in comprehensive interventions, including the psychological, physiological, and social aspects of patients, playing a positive role, especially in patient psychotherapy. The application effect is significant, not only stabilizing patients emotions, but also alleviating their clinical symptoms, which has a positive significance in improving patients quality of life and promoting patients to return to society as soon as possible. This article will review and analyze the characteristics of palliative care, as well as the latest research progress, especially the current status of cognitive behavioral therapy in palliative care for cancer patients. It will also provide a favorable basis for future clinical application and improvement.
