Objective To explore the impact of rapid rehabilitation surgical care on patient pain and complications after gastrointestinal surgery, and analyze its clinical effects on patients. Method: A total of 80 patients with gastrointestinal surgery who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were included and divided into two groups according to random drawing method: observation group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases). During the treatment period, different nursing care was provided for the two groups of patients, including rapid rehabilitation surgical nursing and routine nursing, and the final effect was compared. Results The incidence of complications was lower in observation group (P<0.05). VAS score was lower in observation group and control group (P < 0.05). Satisfaction was higher in observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion After gastrointestinal surgery, combined rapid rehabilitation surgical nursing has better effects on relieving pain, reducing complication rate and providing patient satisfaction, which can promote physical rehabilitation of patients and is worth popularizing.
