Objective To analyze the effect of cluster nursing guided by quality control circle on the improvement of urination status and urinary retention of urological patients after catheter removal. Method 187 urological patients admitted to our hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the research objective. They were divided into a routine group of 93 patients and a study group of 94 patients based on admission time. The routine group received routine nursing intervention, while the study group received cluster nursing intervention guided by the quality control circle. Compare the pain level, urination status, and nursing satisfaction of two groups of patients after removing the catheter.Result The pain level after removing the catheter in the study group was lower than that in the conventional group (P<0.05), and the difference was statistically significant. The situation of autonomous urination, induced urination and urinary retention in the study group was better than that in the routine group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate in the research group was 98.93%, while the nursing satisfaction rate in the conventional group was 83.87%. The nursing satisfaction rate in the research group was higher than that in the conventional group (P<0.05), and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Cluster nursing guided by the quality control circle can alleviate the pain of urological patients after pulling out the catheter, effectively reduce the occurrence of urinary retention in urological patients, and improve nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
