Objective To investigate the nursing effect of traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation nursing in the convalescent period after orthopedic surgery. Methods A survey was conducted among the patients who were admitted to the orthopedics department of our hospital from January to May in 2021. All the patients involved in this study received symptomatic treatment and nursing. 98 patients were included in this study. All the patients involved in this study received symptomatic treatment and nursing. The number of patients included in each group was (49). They were named as routine group and study group according to nursing plan. The nursing scheme adopted by the routine group was the routine nursing way, and the nursing scheme adopted by the research group was the rehabilitation nursing of traditional Chinese medicine. The implementation effects of the two nursing schemes were summarized and explored. Results The nursing effective rate of the conventional group was 39/49 (79.59%), which was significantly lower than that of the study group (P<0.05). Conclusion TCM rehabilitation nursing plays an excellent role in the nursing of orthopedic patients during the recovery period after surgery, and this program is worthy of clinical application and popularization.
