Objective To analyze the urinary retention after orthopedic surgery treated by moxibustion Guanyuan and Qihai points. Methods A total of 70 patients with urinary retention after orthopedic surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into 2 groups by odd-even hospitalization number method, 35 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given conventional treatment, and moxibustion at Guanyuan and Qihai points were added to the observation group on this basis. The days of catheter indwelling, quality of life before and after treatment and total effective rate were compared between the two groups. Results The days of catheter indwelling in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the quality of life after treatment was higher than that in the control group, the total effective rate was higher than that in the control group, P<0.05. Conclusion The conventional plan combined with moxibustion Guanyuan and Qihai point for the treatment of urinary retention after orthopedic surgery is effective, can effectively improve the patients condition and quality of life, shorten the time of urinary catheter retention, worthy of promotion and application.
